Black Owned Fashion & Beauty Brands
Hey everyone!!
So we know how unsettling the current events have been and I have been quite anxious about it all. I wish for a world where we can all be seen and treated as equals. Let us love bigger and support each other more instead of tearing each other down. My prayer is that we love like how God loves and that we all work together to shape a better world for this and the upcoming generation. So lets teach our children about what is truly important and shape the world into a place that is okay to be black and walk on any street without fear.
Truth be told, there are many reasons I started Closet Code but a huge part that had an impact was the fact that I wanted to see more of people like me who were fashionable and killing it in a predominantly white industry. We are all beautiful and deserve a shot at being fashion moguls so I made it a part of my mission to be exactly who I'm meant to be and open the door for people like me.
Anywho, on to some of my fav black owned brands that I personally shop and am in support of that you can shop too.. I have included both beauty and fashion brands so I hope you enjoy!
1. KNC Beauty
I definitely will be ordering a pack of these.. I have heard great reviews about these bad boys. They are collagen infused and they are made by the beautiful Kristen Crawley

2. Fenty & Fenty Beauty
We know Fenty fashion costs that bag $$$, however I will link some of my favorite more affordable pieces. You can also shop her lingerie brand which has some cute intimates. Queen RihRih also kills the makeup game and has one of my favorite foundations that makes your skin smoother than smooth so I will link it all!

3. Hanifa
This is a brand I have followed on insta for a while and absolutely love their pieces! They are super luxe looking and well priced and definitely a brand I think should have more exposure! Check out their instagram here! Below are some of my fav pieces!
This dress in general is super bomb and I can definitely see summer vacations calling my name!
These have been a long time favorite of mine but are currently sold out but restocking soon, however I would pair these pants with a off the shoulder top some statement jewelry and minimalistic heels.
I would pair this skirt with one of my staple Zara bodysuits and thin strapped heels.. This is also great to pair over your swim for an easy coverup!
4. Riot Swim
Super cute and great quality swim that that are just as good looking on the body as they are off..

She makes one of my favorite light-medium weight coverage foundations that is long wear and fab! I bought this last year after seeing good reviews and I'm so glad I did!
The name suits it because this foundation is perfection! I wear shade Medium 17

7. Baby Sorella
This is a brand I full on support as it is owned by my friend @Isiuwa
She has the best jewelry which I wear all the time and if you haven't checked her out yet you definitely should!! I am wearing the Caia Ring in size 7&8
